Two problems related to fuel injection have been reported for the 2002 Dodge Ram 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Failure of "crossover tube" in fuel injection system. Massive leakage vehicle would not start. Could have caused fire if happened on road luckly happened as I was pulling into driveway. I have failed part and will send whereever if desired to ahve part.
I own a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 4. 7 v-8. The vehicle has a tendency to stall and idle low. At random times, the truck has a wild fluctuation at idle, surging from 400rpm to 1300 rpm for approx 15 seconds before the computer corrects the idle. I took the truck to the dealer and they were not able to find any problems with the vehicle.
