Front Suspension problems of the 2004 Dodge Ram 1500

Two problems related to front suspension have been reported for the 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Front Suspension problem

Failure Date: 07/22/2011

Tl-the contact owns a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated the steering was pulling while turning to the right or left. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who performed a diagnosed that located the failure at the front tie rod was causing the tires to wear and the steering to fail the driver side was severely worn. The vehicle has not been repaired. The failure mileage was 88,700 and the current mileage was 89,104. Li.

2 Front Suspension problem

Failure Date: 03/08/2005

While driving at 25 mph something in the front end popped followed by the left front tire separating from the truck. When this occurred vehicle sharply pulled to the left and collided with a pole. Vehicle was towed to a towing yard, then to a body shop. The body shop or the insurance company couldn't indicate what popped and caused the tire to separate.
