The contact owns a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that the windshield wipers would not operate during rainy weather only. The contact inquired about NHTSA recall campaign id number 09e009000 (visibility: windshield wiper/washer) but was told his VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer would not provide any assistance. The contact stated he would be repairing the failure on his own. The failure and current mileages were 38,000.
