Electronic Stability Control problem #4

The engine stall which appears you have investigated is concerning for me. Multiple times I have been make a r turn and had the engine "die" in deceleration through the turn resulting in the truck losing power steering and electrical components of the truck. The recent incident almost resulted in me striking a motorcycle waiting in the l hand turn lane for the traffic signal. The engine has stalled in several other turn situations causing me to be restarting at stand still in traffic. I feel this has proven to be a safety concern and not just a inconvenience.

Electronic Stability Control problem #5

The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. While driving at 25 mph, the vehicle would veer to the left independently. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact received notice of NHTSA campaign number: 14v796000 (power train); however, the part needed to do the repair was not available. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 113,000.

Electronic Stability Control problem #6

A sensor for the transmission or computer is faulting out cousin the transmissions or gears to shift in causing it to slow down suddenly or shift down and it's not working properly.

Electronic Stability Control problem #7

The truck will start surging between 30 -65 mph and the engine will fail causing loss of brakes and power steering. While idling the engine will rev up to 3000 rpm up and down and will also do this while in drive. While idling at a stop light the truck will surge forward like the gas pedal was pushed to the floor and I have almost hit numerous cars in front of me many different times. I have had the throttle body cleaned and replaced, egr valve replaced, and the electronic throttle control replaced by a Dodge dealership. On average, this problem occurs 5-8 times a week. To this day the problem still exists (7/29/2010).
