Tl- the contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that after activating the cruise control system the vehicle speed continued to accelerate after the speed was set and the drivers foot was removed off the accelerator pedal. The driver was unable to immediately deactivate the cruise control system. The failure had occurred on several different occasions. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer in tampa FL. (unknown)on multiple visits but the failure could not be duplicated and no trouble was found. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 500. Jft.
