Other Fuel System Tank Filling/charging problems of the 2007 Dodge Ram 1500

When filling gas tank, gas shoots out the top when full. Happens at every gas station. Recently took vehicle to dealership for this issue and a gascap warning light and service engine light. Service advisor at dealership said the fuel inlet valve was leaking at a weld seam. Cost of repair is $1240. 00. When this occurs about a half gallon of gasoline spews onto the cement which at times in phoenix reaches 120 degrees. Plus.
