In the 4 years I have owned this 2007 Dodge ram I have had to replace the wiper motor 5 times. I was at my fathers funeral, it was snowing and I started the truck but the wipers would not turn on. The wiper motor was just replaced in late fall of last year, less than 6 months. I've only put 12,000 miles on the truck in 4 years. 102,000 miles on.
Wipers won't power on consistently. In fact now can't seem to get them to come on at all. Tried replacing the multi function turn signal/wiper/washer switch without success. Best guess from research is a failed tipm, which is a major expense and has been the subject of previous class action lawsuits. Fortunately it's winter and I discovered they don't work while sitting in the driveway. Yet some days they have worked. Of late they don't seem to come on at all even with the installation of a new multifunction (on the column) switch referenced above.
Tipm low beams are not working caused by plug haveing no power coming out of tipm total integrated power module almost causing me to have a accident from not seeing the road I was driveing on . I have lights atm bypassed tipm with a on /off switch but should really be replaced kinda of a bad engineering on mopar side. And very dangerous.
Takata recall have a major problem with the high speed on the windshield wipers not working. Low speed works well but high speed stops wipers completely.
Passenger wiper blade not working while in motion on interstate I-5 freeway in portland oregon during rain fall causing wipers to lock together for a period of time until I could pull over and dislodge from each other after that only driver side works.

My truck sat out during the winter Dec thru April, in April when I returned to michigan the wiper motor sounded different as it it were straining. It still worked but made some noise. Today it flat out quit working, I cannot find any information regarding fuses which I would have expected to protect the motor.
Almost every time I go to use my blinkers it doesn't switch the right blinker on. And sometimes the wipers and the blinkers don't work at all. I just bought this vehicle not to long ago and have no other means to get my children to child care and my self to work. I am afraid we are going to get into an accident. With all that is going on here and being a single mom of four. I am afraid I wont be able to afford to fix it. A loss for words. Please any sugestions.

When using the left turn signal the right signal sometimes flashes. Sometimes the left signal will flash for a few seconds, then the right signal will flash a few times. Failures are intermittent and inconsistent. Also, the wipers and washers operate intermittently, and the high beam switch works about 20% of the time, sometimes requiring a stop to actuate the switch repeatedly so as not to blind oncoming traffic.

The turn signals works sporadically I flip the signal left it will blink right and vice versa or they wont work at all at times also the hazard lights will not work. Along with these symptoms the windshield wipers will not work at the same times as the prior mentioned symptoms. I called the dealer to check vehicle recalls the service agent said there was not any recalls but this is a common complaint on the 2007 Dodge ram it is a very dangerous situation as it was raining during the last episode the visibility was extremely low and I was unable to properly let the other motorist my intention to merge out of traffic.
Wipers have started to only function when they want to. Even when on they will sometimes turn off or pause or go faster. Intermittent does not work properly, seems to have a mind of there own.
The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that the windshield wipers failed intermittently. When the blinker is turned on, the opposite side blinks, or none at all. The wiper doesn't wipe at all times. These are unsafe driving conditions.
The windshield wiper motor is failing on my 2007 Dodge ram. There is a recall on the 2008 and 2009 models. It no longer operates on anything but intermediate, even when the knob is on high. This failure has caused a dangerous situation.
Wipers don't always work. I understand there is a recall investigation but I have not been notified. Vehicle is a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 pick-up.
