Tire Blowout problems of the 2008 Dodge Ram 1500

The contact owns a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 equipped with goodyear wrangler sr-a tires, size p265/70/r17. The contact stated that while driving 55 mph, the sidewall on the tires blew out. The contact pulled over and noticed that the tires were p rated instead of a light truck tire. The vehicle was taken to a local repair shop where the contact was informed that the tires were for passenger vehicles. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated that the contact needed to speak with the tire manufacturer. The contact called the tire manufacturer who told him to speak with the vehicle manufacturer. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 18,000.
