Failure to start. Engine cranks but will not start. Remote start fails. Door locks sometimes do not work, radio failures, engine stalls unexpectedly, tpm failure, serv 4wd warning light is displayed sporadically. This was a recall on 2011 and 2012 Chrysler vehicles except the ram. The ram also has the same issues as the other recalled vehicles. Why was the ram excluded from the recall?.
Received the safety recall and contacted the dealer to setup an appointment and have been told repeatedly the parts are not in. Chrysler was supposed to send out a letter to the vehicle owner advising when the parts are available. The letter has not been received and the issue is still not fixed. This vehicle is a fire department emergency response vehicle.
Nearly a year ago, I received notice from ram of a recall on a rear axle pinion nut. They said that the nut could loosen due to undersized pinion shaft splines, possibly causing the rear axle to seize or cause the drive shaft to separate, possibly causing a crash without warning. When I called a local dealer in regards to the recall notice, they said that they didn't have the required part to remedy the recall and that they may receive the part in September of 2014. I waited until October to call and schedule an appointment and they still didn't have it. Now in may 2015, I've received between 4-5 more notices since the first and I tried to get the part fixed or replaced and the dealer still doesn't have the part to fix the problem. I ask you then NHTSA, what the hell is the point in having car manufacturers send notices like these out telling consumers to get the problems fixed in a timely manner when that is not possible?! what is your fix to fix the car manufacturers and look out for consumers and the public safety?!.
Totally integrated power module malfunction. Fuel pump constantly stays on, even when no key in truck, drains the battery.
Small rocks are getting lodged between bedside and wheel tub causing outward protrusions on the right bedside. According to dealer there are isolated cases of this happening however this issue is also occuring on my other 2011 Ram 1500 as well. Being as these vehicles travel gravel roads daily it would seem there would be a greater chance of this occurring on my vehicles then most sold that never leave pavement. There is obviously a defect in the design of this vehicle as it is happening to both of my trucks and should be looked into. I could understand this being an isolated thing if it wasn't occuring on both vehicles.
I got letter from Chrysler for safety recall notice. But they said, the part is not available few weeks or months. It is safety recall n08/NHTSA 13v-038. It said clearly required safety recall, but part is not available situation. I really don't understand. And I believe they have to take care of my car immediately for safe reason.

I received a safety recal (n08/NHTSA 13v-038 rear axle pinion nut) I received this notice months ago. I have contracted the manufaturer multiple times. Each time I get told the part is not available yet. After months, why would the part not be available? it was nice to get the notice, but is there an office that follows up on these recalls to make sure the manufacturer is actually addressing the issue. Thank you for any assistance you can provide on this issue.
I received a recall notification three months regarding the 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 rear axle pinion nut {n08/NHTSA 13v-038}. I visited the dealership and questioned when the vehicle would be fixed. They stated they do not have the part, however we would receive a second notice on the recall and they would make an appointment to replace the part in the vehicle. We are still waiting for a notification to replace the part. This is a serous problem and I am very concerned with the safety of the vehicle on the road. The dealership is merrick Dodge on merrick road merrick long island. Thank you for your cooperation concerning this matter. John.
