Door Latch problems of the 2011 Dodge Ram 1500

The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated the vehicle was included in an unknown recall for the door latches. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was told that the parts necessary to remedy the failure were on backorder. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware and also confirmed that the parts were still on backorder. The contact was unable to have the vehicle repaired.
