High/low Beam Switch problems of the 1996 Dodge Ram 2500

Two problems related to high/low beam switch have been reported for the 1996 Dodge Ram 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 High/low Beam Switch problem

Failure Date: 08/07/1999

While driving consumer smelled a burning odor. After that the lights went out. Consumer had to pull car over to the side of the had to drive with emergency flashers to get home. Consumer had to replace the headlamp switch.

2 High/low Beam Switch problem

Failure Date: 10/01/1997

Last year my Dodge headlight switch stopped functioning. I was on the road.
