While driving at any speed consumer heard a clanking sound when the brakes were depressed. Two certified mechanics determined that the control arm upper ball joint bolt was loose.
The vehicle was taken in for an inspection, and the inspector said that all 4 ball joints were shot. The ball joints failed within 90000 miles.
