One problem related to steering wheel has been reported for the 1997 Dodge Ram 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While attempting to make a left turn from an intersection steering failed, could not turn left/right. Steering wheel spun in either direction, and vehicle entered into lane of oncoming traffic.
