Tl-the contact owns a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500. The contact stated that the trailer hitch fractured in the area where the trailer hitch mounts to the frame. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign id number: 00v107000 (trailer hitches) the failure mileage was 158,000 miles.
Dash has become brittle and is developing cracks throughout the part. It is falling apart.
The contact owns a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500. The contact stated that the dashboard exhibited several fragmented pieces. In addition, the faulty horn switch was no longer being produced as an individual part and was currently being manufactured as one assembly part with the combination of the horn switch and frontal air bag. The contact stated that the part was more costly. The vehicle was not repaired. An authorized dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000.
Worst tires I have owned. 4 failed since I owned vehicle in 24,500 miles. The last one is still on the truck but has bare patches. Side walls develop uneven dimples. Looks like poor manufacturer and/or design. I won't buy goodyear again . (tiresize: 16-245-75)( dot number: tire size: 16-245-75 ).
