One problem related to automatic transmission control module has been reported for the 1999 Dodge Ram 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer complained about a transmission problem. Vehicle was moving at approximately 65 mph when it suddenly down shifted to 2nd gear. Driver then put vehicle in 1st gear and drove it to dealership, traveling 5 mph. This situatiion occurred 3 separate times.
