One problem related to brake fluid leak has been reported for the 1999 Dodge Ram 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Tl- the contact owns a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500. The contact stated that while driving approximately 3 mph and attempting to stop, the brake pedal extended to the floor and an increased stopping distance was required. While inspecting the vehicle the contact discovered that the rubber brake line had separated from the plastic union causing the brake fluid to leak out of the brake lines. The cause of the failure was not diagnosed or repaired and the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 121,000. Jft.
