Two problems related to door latch have been reported for the 1999 Dodge Ram 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Drivers side door handel not working to allow to close the door properly.
Drivers side rear door latch (both on inside and outside)on 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 extended(quad) cab refuses to operate and open rear door. This same problem happened one year and three weeks ago. (13,000 miles ago)this is a design or material defect if the dealer made more than interim repairs during warranty period.
