Two problems related to brake hoses, lines/piping, and fittings have been reported for the 2003 Dodge Ram 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
All brake lines are rusted through causing a brake failure.
: the contact stated while attempting to apply brake pressure at 50 mph the brakes failed. The emergency brake was pushed to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was slowly driven home. Upon inspection, it was noticed the front left brake line was touching the rim. The dealer and manufacturer were alerted.
