Cruise Control problems of the 2004 Dodge Ram 2500

1 Cruise Control problem

The contact owns a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500. The contact stated that the cruise control was activated and when he attempted to slow down, the vehicle did not respond in a timely manner. When it did slow down and the contact tried to accelerate, the vehicle would not pick up speed. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer but the dealer did not inspect the vehicle. The contact called the manufacturer and was awaiting a response. The vehicle had not been repaired. The VIN was unavailable. The current mileage was approximately 104,000. The failure mileage was approximately 103,000. Updated 5/24/11.

2 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 03/26/2007

Trying to engage speed control, will lock for about 1 minute then kick out.

3 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 04/28/2006

: the contact stated the vehicle continues to accelerate without the accelerator pedal being depressed. The cruise control has never been activated. The dealership is unable to determine the problem.
