One problem related to software has been reported for the 2004 Dodge Ram 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer 2004 Ram 2500 stalled and electrical system failed. 10156266 the consume was able to turn the ignition to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer the next day for a test drive with the diagnostic to hooked up tot he vehicle. The diagnostic indicated that the vehicle had complete electrical failure. The front power train module was replaced and the software was updated.
