general problems of the 2005 Dodge Ram 2500

Hit brakes to miss a deer drove approx one quarter of mile noticed a bright red glow behind passenger seat upon exiting vehicle noticed flames while darling 911 within minutes entire cab was on fire.

My keys were able to be pulled out of ignition switch with just over 40000 miles on vehicle while vehicle was being drove. Now the vehicle was 8 years old when I bought from someone but only 40000 miles were on it. As time went on little things started happening, lights on dash would come on then shut off. Air would stay on even after shutting vehicle off. Then that would drain battery. The switch would become more loose over time. Keys wouldn't even stay in ignition, they would just fall out while I was driving.

The truck's horn begins sounding for no apparent reason. It is totally unexpected and randomly occurs. The truck can be in park, forward or reverse. This is a very annoying problem. From what I've been reading it seems the manufacturer tried to idiot proof their vehicle. Is there some kind of recall or fix for this condition? thanks, wearing ear plugs in ohio.

Traveling on us93 out of kingman, az. Hit a patch of rough freeway and truck went into an uncontrolably death wobble. I was pulling a 12 foot haulmark motorycle trailer when this occured. It was a miricle we didn't crash. Got it slowed down and off the road everything appeared o. K. Proceeded cautiously and now it was pulling hard to the right like something was out of line. After driving for appx 25 miles, whatever was causing it to pull to right corrected itself. Over the next 1500 miles this has occured on three more occasions once with trailer and twice without trailer. Have new shocks and tires ordered. Have and appt with Dodge to have it checked out but have little faith in them.

Draw-tite gooseneck hitch for 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 pick-up. The frame mounted u-bolts connecting the hitch to the frame sheared off under light to medium load.

Windshield wipers do not work properly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! turn on by themselves, stay on constant when in delay, dont come on at all, or have no delay at all but am able to turn on in low or high positions have changed relays, multi function switch, wiper motor, fcm nothing has worked and I can not get help from dealership bought the vehicle used.
