The contact stated that while driving approximately 75 mph and while applying the brakes to slow down the vehicle suddenly accelerated and the speed increased causing the driver to loose control of the vehicle and crash into a construction site. During the crash the driver suffered a neck injury and the front passenger suffered a fractured sternum and right foot and damaged left lung. A police report was taken at the scene. 3 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 01/30/2014

The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel truck. The contact stated while driving approximately 50 mph, he applied the brakes for a traffic stop and the vehicle accelerated. In addition, the engine rmps increased to 2000. The brake pedal was engaged with both feet in order to stop the vehicle. The failure recurred whenever the vehicle was operation. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer but had not been repaired or diagnosed. The approximate failure mileage was 116,000.

4 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 12/11/2005

The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500. The contact was driving approximately 5 mph into the driveway. There was pressure applied to brake pedal, followed by a no power response when suddenly, the vehicle crashed into the residence garage. There were no personal injuries.
