Turn Signal problems of the 2005 Dodge Ram 2500

1 Turn Signal problem

The contact owns a 2005 Dodge 2500. The contact stated that the turn signals are malfunctioning, when he turns the right turn signal on the left one blinks and vice versa. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who did not diagnose the problem. The manufacturer was not contacted. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 100,000.

2 Turn Signal problem

Failure Date: 09/25/2010

I was in the left turn lane with my left blinker activated and my buddy that was behind me called me on the cell phone and said that my right turn signal was on. The inside one was indicating a right turn condition, but the turn signal handle was positioned for a left turn. The next day I hooked up to a trailer the next day and turned my left turn signal on and walked back to check my trailer lights and my right turn signals were blinking. I looked for this problem, but it is listed for the 2006 Dodge 3500.

3 Turn Signal problem

Failure Date: 09/10/2010

The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500. While driving approximately 40 mph the driver attempted to engage the left turn signal but the right turn signal came on. The vehicle was taken to his residence and parked. While the vehicle was parked he was able to duplicate the failure. The turn signals will either not come on or the opposite turn signal would illuminate. The vehicle was not taken to be examined for the cause of failure and has not been repaired. He also stated that when the windshield wiper was set on intermittent it would swipe multiple times. The failure and current mileages were 44,000. The VIN was unavailable.
