Takata recall. I have tried 7 times to get this fixed at the closest dealer but they won't do it. It is a 70 mile trip to them and they always say they cant for 2 or 3 weeks from when I'm there. They tell me it only takes an hour but expect me to schedule out 2 or 3 weeks. With the job I work I simply cannot do that. Seems like they don't care wheather my wife and I live or die.
I was involved in an accident in motion over 35mph on a highway and my air bags did not go off. A young man turning left from the south lane across the north lane failed to yield to me traveling in the north lane. All air bag recalls on my vehicle have been completed as shown on the attached form.
Takata recall. Just got my 3rd phone call from Chrysler today. The result of the first 2 calls I've received in the past were that no parts were actually available. The result of this phone call was 3 local dealerships put the Chrysler caller on hold and then hung up on her. I have been trying for a very long time to get my truck in for this recall. It is obvious that Chrysler and their dealers are not serious about this serious safety concern.

Takata recall we have recently moved from the us back to canada for retirement. We imported our 06 Dodge Ram 2500 which is used to haul our new 5th wheel (our permanent new home) all import and export documentation was paid but we are now unable to register, license, or insure this vehicle due to the fact that it has the outstanding s43 recall. Our dreams of retiring and travelling have ended before they have begun. Please help, we have spent many thousands of dollars to move back to and cannot use this vehicle until the s43 recall has been completed.

In July 2016, I learned of airbag recall 16v352 through the dept of transportation recall notice program (have not yet been notified by Dodge). Have made 2 attempts since then to get the recall repair done. Today, I was told that parts are still not available. This is an important issue that could cause an accident if airbag accidentally deploys. The wait time to get this repaired is unacceptable.

I purchased the 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 mega cab in 2013 and almost immediately started receiving notices about an air bag recall, but that the parts were not available to fix the issue. It is now 2016 and I am still receiving notices that the parts are not available. I am seriously reluctant to let my wife and toddler ride with me until this problem is fixed. When will the parts be available for my Chrysler dealer to fix my truck?.

Takata recall: was notified of parts availability in Aug 1015. Went to dealer on sept 8 , 2015 and was put on a waiting list. Was told it would be about 6 months. Called today (Mar 4, 2016) and was told I was #107 on the waiting list and it may be as ling as a year until they can get to me. Are they playing the attrition game and hoping something will happen so they will not have to do this recall? I also asked them to disable the airbag in the interest of my personal safety which they refused to do. Is there anything that can be done to speed this process?.

Takata recall I called my local dealership today litia Dodge and was told that the parts are not avalible yet for this recall. Really? like the recall is almost a year old and we are still waiting on parts? what is the deal? I just recently bought this pickup so when I told the service guy this he said that they would notify me. I again told him that I just got this pickup so how is Dodge going to notify me? so I just figured that maybe if I go on this site I can get some answers and notifications because it was obvious my local dealership didn't give a rip.

"takata recall" we purchased our 2006 Dodge truck in October of 2015. We received a recall notice at the end of July 2016. At the time of purchase, dishman Dodge of spokane, washington did not inform us of the defective airbags in this truck. In 2014, ntsa asked 10 car companies to recall 7. 8 million vehicles because of this problem but only in 7 southern states, puerto rico and the u. S. Virgin islands. True, the air bag propellant becomes more unstable over time and with hot or humid temperatures ,but that is only a factor when the air bag deploys spontaneously or when the vehicle is involved in a minor fender bender and the bag should not be deploying in the first place. What about when a vehicle is involved in a moderate or major accident? why was that not considered when the recall first took place? why weren't drivers in the rest of the states notified too? accidents happen all the time. There are no available parts or replacements for these airbags so, if the takata air bag deploys in our vehicles for any reason, us, our loved ones, children, mothers, fathers are just out of luck I guess. When did fiat -Chrysler find out about this problem? are any of you looking into the fact that many vehicles were sold to unsuspecting buyers, with full knowledge that these airbags were hazardous? I believe dishman Dodge of spokane had full knowledge of this when they sold us our truck but, they're not taking responsibility for it at all. Now I am stuck driving an unsafe vehicle. I won't allow anyone to ride in the passenger seat. I can't trade it or sell it because then I'd just be passing the hazard onto someone else, which is wrong. So who's going to help keep me and my family safe? who's going to help us? who's going to be responsible if someone gets hurt of killed because of this faulty airbag? will you only do what's right after more people are injured or die? help us.
