Fail To Slow Down problems of the 2006 Dodge Ram 2500

The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500. The contact placed the gear shifter into reverse. There was a high engine idle, which led to unexpected acceleration. Immediately, the brake pedal was depressed, but the vehicle failed to slow down. The driver steered to the right and crashed into a snow bank in order to slow the vehicle down.
