2008 Dodge ram diesel check engine light. Codes shows turbo problems. They have reprogramed computer, cleaned the turbo twice,replaced the turbo and the check engine light keeps comeing on. The truck has been in the shop for 3 times. And total of 7 days . And back again tomorrow.
When this diesel truck cleans it"s particulite filter I get a strong fuel smell oder in the cab when stopped at a stop light or stop sign. This cleaning of the d. P. R. Filter happens every 100 or so miles driven and last for about 20 miles. When the oder occurs my eyes burn, and I cough alot. So far the Dodge dealers are unable to fix my problem. I have taken the pick up truck to two differant dealers trying to get relief from this problem.
