Two problems related to check engine light on have been reported for the 2010 Dodge Ram 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
2010 Dodge Ram 2500. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle being a lemon the consumer stated the dealer has been unable to determine why the check engine light continues to illuminate. On one occasion, the vehicle stalled during rush hour traffic. The vehicle had to be towed. The dealer informed the consumer, the wiring harness was the problem. However, the part was on back order.
Tl-the contact owns a 2010 Dodge Ram 2500. The contact stated that he noticed that exhaust fumes would enter into the cab and may cause health problems. He noticed that the check engine light would illuminate whenever the fumes would arise. The vehicle was inspected by a dealer and they advised him that the O2 sensor had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired for the 02 sensor and also reprogrammed. After getting the vehicle repaired the fumes still arise and would not go away. The manufacturer was contacted and they offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 8,500. Tb.
