Two problems related to cruise control have been reported for the 1996 Dodge Ram 3500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Cruise control cable (twisted fine wire) become frayed, causing cable to become jammed in housing, causing the cruise control to not go off when brake was applied.
While driving could set up cruise control at speed, but it will suddenly accelerate to a point that consumer has to control vehicle. Dealer had been contacted ,and problem could not be fixed. Please provide more infomation.
