One problem related to steering linkages has been reported for the 1996 Dodge Ram 3500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving 30 mph, the steering pitman arm that connects the steering wheel to the power steering pump came off. Driver lost control of the truck and side swiped two parked cars. The steering arm has been replaced.
