Two problems related to other fuel system fuel gauge have been reported for the 2000 Dodge Ram 3500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Without warning vehicle stalled, causing the driver to drift to the side of the road. Consumer stated that the fuel gauge was defective. Consumer notified the dealership about this issue, however, mechanic had not corrected the problem.
Consumer noticed that fuel gauge was giving false reading when fuel gauge reached half full. Vehicle ran out of gas because the fuel tank actually was empty.
