Tl- the contact owns a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500. The contact stated the fuel injector pump failed twice in the past year and a half. The first time the failure occurred the contact was told it was because the fuel pump failed. The contact was told to add fuel pressure gauges becauses that would help the injector pump not fail if the fuel pump failed again. The contact stated that this kept the fuel pump from failing, but the fuel injector pump failed again. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and was told this was a known problem and thaat this time they would need to reroute the fuel pump to correct the problem. The first time the failure occurred the vehicle had 92,000 miles. The current mileage and failure mileages were 125,000. Rl.
