general problems of the 2006 Dodge Ram 3500

On the night of Apr 16, 2019 it same like everyday I went home from work back up my truck in the driveway turn off and got in the house forgot my ipad went back out and get it ,back in the house went to take the shower and then five minutes later the truck burn down, the fire truck came they put out the fire, and I got the report said engine area, running gear, wheel area.

After months of recall notices I finally had spare time to schedule appointment on this recall. It was over a month wait to get it done since there are so many recall for Dodge. I had to schedule for 7am since I work for a living and need truck for work. I took off a few hours to get this repair done. Since I had to get up an hour early to be on time. Service dept was very adamant about being on time to get in and out I arrived 10 minutes early. The lady at the desk informs me that they don't have the parts to fix recall. Are you kidding me? this is totally unacceptable and has caused me to lose time at work because of Dodge screw up. I demand a rental truck while this service is being done when Dodge finally get the parts in. . Since Dodge cares so much about the customer safety. . Bullsh*t. . . . If you really cared the parts would of been there this would of been handle professionally and it would be over. But hell no I have to wait till Dodge calls me to let me know parts are in and wait a freakin month to get another appointment. . I am pissed. . . Extremely. . . .

Having trouble obtaining a shifter cable, Dodge will not help after several attempts to contact customer service. Also, had had to replace the entire steering due to death wobble.

Turning left onto farm to market. . . Signaled left. . Rear vehicle began passing me on left I slammed on brakes as did they. . . Although my turn signal lever was in left turn position. . . Vehicle turn lamps were both signaling a right turn as was dash lamp. . . Very dangerous. . Could have killed passing motorist are sent them to the ditch . . Signal now malfunctions on a weekly basis. . Switch on backorder. . . Tells us something. . .

I received a recall notice in the mail in January 2014. Made an online appointment to have the defective parts repaired/replaced at fort collins Dodge February. I was informed that the replacement parts would not be available until March 4, and an appointment was made by jesse. Jesse subsequentlyl called an said the appointment would be canceled as further information regarding the recall was needed. Jesse just called again today and said that the repairs/replacements couldn't be performed until after April 15. I need to use my truck to pull trailers and haul loads. What is a reasonable time to expect to have this defect resolved? what should I do next?.

A/c - blower housing, keeps breaking so passenger side gets hot air, has been repaired every year until 2011. And needs it again this year. Happened so often that Dodge put an extended warranty on the a/c unit, but as soon as that expired, housing broke again. Blinkers- sometimes they come on and others they don't move the tilt or turn and miraculously they come on. Drivers side seat belt will not latch, takes numerous attempts to get it to latch.
