One problem related to hazard flashing warning light switch has been reported for the 2006 Dodge Ram 3500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Unsure what caused the issue. The issue is the failure and or uncertain action of the turn signals as well as the hazard lights. The turn signals at times will not function at all or will signal in the opposite direction that the switch was indicated. The fault started to occur at around 60k miles. Truck has 107k miles now and failure has increased frequency as the miles have increased. I have found that if I leave the turn signal switch alone while it is malfunctioning and adjust the tilt steering the turn signal issue may or may not resolve itself.
