Brake pedal has developed 3/4" lateral movement. Presents uncertainty during emergency braking, have had a couple of "close calls" where due to the lateral movement of the brake pedal braking was delayed. Local dealer briefly examined pedal and verified this lateral movement is abnormal and a problem exists with the mechanism in the adjustable brake pedal.
