One problem related to engine stall has been reported for the 2007 Dodge Ram 3500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Tl- (the contact owns a 2007 ram quad cab 3500 4x4). The contact stated that while driving at approximately 65 to 70 mph there was a loud bang. The vehicle was towed to a mechanic and diagnosed that the axle had broken at the transfer box and had taken out the steering linkage. The transfer box, steering linkage, axle and five sensors were replaced. The vehicle was repaired. In addition, the contact stated that without warning the vehicle engine stalled while it pulled a large trailer. The vehicle immediately restarted. The failure recurred multiple times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer mechanic multiple times. However, the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 54,000. Bd.
