One problem related to transfer case has been reported for the 2007 Dodge Ram 3500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
My truck shifted itself in 4wd low while going 75 mph down the interstate which destroyed my transfer case and transmission and caused my drive shaft to come loose which I feel is a very dangerous defect as it could have rolled my truck. I have found others that have had this happen apparently because of a electronic transfer case motor reading the wrong signal and shifting into low range whether the truck is moving or even running. It's something that shouldn't happen especially with a manual 4wd shifter.
