When the recall was first issued we called the dealership and they said they would put our vehicle on a list and we have yet to hear from them. When I called the dealership they said we were still on a list and that they would call us.

Takata recall. I received a recall notice from fiat Chrysler automobiles (r25/NHTSA 15v-313) that was termed as an "interim notification letter" quite a few months ago stating that I would be notified when the repair parts become available. To date I have not received any further notices about the availability of parts. I had a similar experience with the last recall on my Dodge Ram 3500. It appears that fiat Chrysler is purposefully failing to notify consumers of parts availability. I believe this warrants further investigation by the NHTSA to find out why fiat Chrysler has failed to advise consumers of the availibilty of parts. I checked fiat Chrysler's web site a few minutes ago and it states that parts are available so I don't know why I was not notified by them.
I was e/b hwy 26 around manning, or at approximately 50-55 mph (posted 55). As I was passing a fruit stand on my right, I heard a loud bang and the vehicle jerked to the right jumped the curb and I veered to the right to avoid the steel guard rail and drove into a drop off about 20 feet below the roadway and struck a pile of 4-6" logs in tall grass. None of the airbags deployed during the collision.
