Drove the truck about 25 miles to work the morning of oct. 9 2014 parked the truck in a parking space in front of the office at about 7:30 came out at approx. 4:45 got in the truck turned the key on waited for the wait to start ind. Noticed the windshield wipers were on but the switch was off then noticed the message center said air bag mat. Required but then went away very quickly then went to put on my seat belt then thought what I saw was smoke coming from the steering column then saw a red seat belt lite come on in the instrument cluster then the air bag blew out in my face causing bruising and abrasions to my face and upper body area stinging to my face a CO worker took me to the e r were I was seen.
