Latches/locks/linkage Problems of Dodge Ram 3500

The contact owns a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500. The contact stated that the power door locks would recurringly fail to engage. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed that the main power door actuator that was on the front drivers side door needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure and current mileage was 58,000.

Full size spare truck tire fell off of truck while driving down the road. Cable snapped. Truck had just passed state inspection 1 week prior and I had just checked the air on the spare that morning.

Full size spare truck tire fell off of truck while driving down the road. Cable snapped. Truck had just passed state inspection 1 week prior and I had just checked the air on the spare that morning.

Safety issue. Lack of key lock on passenger door. I got out of my vehicle without shifting to park. I was on the passenger side when vehicle started moving. I had a door key but was unable to use it for lack of lock. I was unable to get to the driver side to prevent accident. No injuries but there could have been and even deaths.
