Two problems related to automatic transmission park/neutral start switch have been reported for the 1999 Dodge Ram Van. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle rolls backwards when put in park.
Vehicle was placed in drive gear by a 2-year old child by swinging the back of his hand past the shifter. Vehicle began to roll forwards. Dealer was contacted and showed no concern.
