One problem related to steering rack and pinion has been reported for the 2004 Dodge Sprinter. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Rack and pinion was replaced after leakage occured at 27000 miles. It is leaking again but not covered under drive train warrenty and Dodge refuses to replace it. However if this is a reoccuring problem you should insist that Dodge modify the design and effect a recall.
