One problem related to rear suspension springs has been reported for the 2008 Dodge Sprinter. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
We have had both rear leaf springs fail on this vehicle in last 2 months. The centering pin on leaf spring shears off and axle shifts back to wheel well. This causes vehicle to track at askew on road. I feel this presents a major safety issue at freeway speeds. We have had the leaf fail on 2 of our five Sprinters the other being a 2007 year. Other van has 120000 miles on it. We have never had this problem with other vans of different mfr.
