1 Wiring problem

Failure Date: 06/15/2005

2005 Dodge durango slt 2wd on 4/11/2005 while driving with my 2 yr old son the vehicle stalled while accelerating through a busy intersection. I was almost hit by 2 vehicles. The vehicle was towed to jack carusoã‚s regency Dodge. It took the dealership 2 days and several fuses before coming to the conclusion that it the wiring at the back of the right side cylinder head needed to be repair and a capacitor needed to be replaced. On 6/15/2005 while driving with my 2 yr old son the vehicle stalled again while accelerating through a busy intersection. Again, I was almost hit by on coming traffic. The vehicle was towed, again, to jack carusoã‚s regency Dodge. When I called the dealer 6/16/2005 I was advised that it was the same problem but they were performing additional diagnosticã‚s to see if anything else was wrong. At this point I advised I no longer feel safe driving this truck. This is my only means of transportation for my son and myself. I do not want to have worry every time I get to an intersection if they vehicle is going to stall. I asked the dealer about replacing the vehicle; I was instructed to call Chrysler corporate head quarters. After speaking with a service representative I was informed that repurchasing the vehicle was not an option based on the information gathered from my service representative and myself, under florida lemon law you must have 3 problems with in 24 months. I have experienced 2 problems with in 66 days. Unacceptable. My concern is that someone will have to be seriously injured before Chrysler rectifies the situation.
