Three problems related to front seat belt buckle assembly have been reported for the 1996 Dodge Stratus. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
In a front end collision seat belt unhooked, causing the driver to be thrown out the vehicle. Car totalled.
Rear lap belt buckle and rear passenger seat belt buckle plastic cover keep falling off/apart on latch side. Consumer adds that middle rear belt is coming apart also, and won't stay together.
The front passenger side seatbelt gets stuck in the buckle and will not come undone. Please describe.
