One problem related to automatic transmission gear indicator has been reported for the 1998 Dodge Stratus. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Gear shift is defective. When moving it there is no need to put foot on the brakes, the vehicle shifts gears anyway. The dealer states that is the way the gear shift should be because of federal standards. Dealer cannot duplicate the problem.
