The contact stated that while at a intersection the contact depressed the accelerator without warning the vehicle jerk and loss power the contact managed to veer to the scheduler of the road place the vehicle in park turn the vehicle off and back on which resumed back to normal. The contact also mentioned that when the vehicle hitd a bump it veers to the right intermittently. The vehicle was seen at a inepnedte mechanic who diagnoses the vehicle a replaced the starter. However, the failure recurred. No dealer was contacted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximenlty 180,037. Ck.

3 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 08/12/2007

The contact owns a 2003 Dodge Stratus. While driving 55 mph, the strut mounts seized. The contact was able to pull over and then slowly drive the vehicle to his residence. The mechanic stated that the rear strut mounts were rusted and replaced them at the cost of $500. The dealer information was unavailable. The current mileage was 53,000 and the failure mileage was unknown.
