Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2006 Dodge Stratus

The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Stratus. While driving 45 mph, the contact's vehicle crashed into another vehicle and the air bags failed to deploy. A police report was filed and no injuries were reported. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 137,000.

The entire front fender of his vehicle was severely damaged. The driver and passenger were both wearing their seat belts at the time, but they still sustained neck and back injuries. My daughter was driving home when another vehicle made an illegal left turn in front of her. At the auto shop, they did not check to see if the air bags worked (or even if there are air bags in the steering wheel) or find out why the seat flew of or why the driver seat flew forward. All of my children have been putting their seat belts on since they were small children -- I can guarantee that the seat belt was secure.
