The exhaust manifold has cracked, Ferrari is aware of the problem. The defect that can cause cat induction, then engine failure (and should not be driven). Ferrari is not willing to replace the manifolds. The manifolds were not fit for service and fail the implied warranty of merchantability. Ferrari should replace or recall all 430 cars that have not been changed to second generation manifolds regardless of warranty status. 2005 to 2009 anything that could result in engine failure or render the car inoperable during operation, and is a known defects, should be fixed by Ferrari.
