One problem related to fail to slow down has been reported for the 1996 Ford Aerostar. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving 35-40 mph vehicle suddenly accelerated to 50-55 mph. Consumer stood on brakes, with both feet. Vehicle failed to slow down. Consumer then shifted to neutral and turned off engine. This happened again the same day, about 50 mph. When driving below 30 mph vehicle did not accelerate. Please add further details.
