Two problems related to automatic transmission have been reported for the 1997 Ford Aerostar. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Feels like and sounds like transmission trying to lock in two gears, almost stalls vehicle. Has a miss/buck/balk/jerk/jump or whatever,severity varies from very severe to barely perceptible. Occurs almost every time vehicle is driven in city.
